Kız Kulesi, M.Ö. 400'lü yıllarda inşa edilmiştir. İstanbul Boğazı'nın Marmara Denizi'ne yakın kısmında, Salacak açıklarında yer alan küçük adacık üzerinde inşa edilmiş yapıdır. Kız Kulesi'nin boyu yaklaşık 18 metredir. Ayrıca Kız Kulesi, 5 kattan oluşmaktadır. 1719 yılında bir yangın sonucu telef olan bu Kız Kulesi, Sadrazam Nevşehirli Damat İbrahim Paşa tarafından tekrar restore edilmiştir. Tarihi yapıya “Kız Kulesi” adını veren ise Osmanlı’dır. Bizans Dönemi’nde ise “Arcla” (Küçük Kale) olarak bilinmektedir

Üsküdarın sembolü. Onu çok seviyorum, sahilde yürüyerek ona bakmaya seviyorum. Şimdi maalesef kapalı, restorasyon çalışmaları var. Önce güzel restoran vardı birinci katta, ikici kattada tüm İstanbul'u görebilirdiniz, çok güzel bir yer.
